Philip Carrer (PGC) is a Canadian writer, director, producer and visual aritst. At the age of 23, his first film Desperate Souls (2005) was released by, Lions Gate and Alliance Atlantis. Years later, his uncompromising DIY mentality allowed him to direct Kill (2008) released by Troma Entertainment, and over 50 music videos which have aired on major television networks in the U.S and Canada such as TMN, TMN OnDemand, and IFC.

His 2010 film, If A Tree Falls (2010) had it's world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival (2010) and it's U.S premiere at the Terror In the Aisles 7 at the historical Portage Theatre in Chicago.

Music videos highlighted in the beginning of his career include the direction for Swollen Members, California based punk rock band Hed p.e, Europe's/U.K artist Leeroy Thornhill’s Smash HI FI formerly of the world-renowned The Prodigy and Blue Felix's hit single “Middle Finger” featuring Sid Wilson from metal icons Slipknot.

MKD (Monkey Destroy Publishing) was created by Carrer to release artwork and his unreleased stories and books. With an archive of stories from scripts he's written, he releases the tales in their original format.
